We’re Johnny and Judi Thurman, and we’ve made a home at Hickory’s Nest, a small farm in West Virginia, together as we are reaching retirement from our longtime careers. Judi, a social worker, and Johnny, a glazier, love the farm life and working with our hands. We have 2 horses, Chelsea and Zeus, two cats, Viper and Little Cat, a new pup named Waylon, and about 50 chickens. Don’t tell the birds, but the silkies are our favorite! When we’re not working, you can find us spending time with friends and family, listening to music, target shooting, gardening, or chasing after the grandkids.
